| This past weekend I went home to Birmingham for an event at my church called Delta Flight. This event was a weekend-long event for high school and junior high students. Different groups of students spent the night and peoples' houses Friday and Saturday night. We had several big meeting times during the weekend but also small group meetings with the group in our house. My friend Amy and I were the leaders for 14 girls who are seniors in high school. It was a lot like being back in SK! It was a great weekend, but I'm still a bit tired. We ate way too much junk food and stayed up way too late. But it was a wonderful weekend of learning God's word and fellowshipping together. The pics below are from when we went iceskating on Saturday afternoon. Jacob was able to come for the weekend too!

| Last night I dreamed that it was the summer of 2007 and I was heading back to Slovakia for English Camp... Things here in Mississippi have been going well except for me being a little sick. I'm excited though...next weekend I'm going to Birmingham to visit my family. I haven't been there since July. Gina and I are planning to go to Noah's wedding. Does anyone know if anyone from Slovakia is planning to come? Let me know. Love you all. |
